It is the desire to be sure that causes tension and tightness.
This desire for certainty creates doubt, changes our swing; prevents us from seeing the ball; stops us from being still at contact and does not allow us to wait for the ball.
All of the above are symptoms, which are easy to see, but the root cause is not so clear.
The truth is that the future is uncertain and in the moment before contact it is not possible to know if the ball is going to be in or not.
The moment we ‘understand’ that uncertainty is the very fiber of Life, tension drops and what remains is a state of being that can be called relaxed.
When this true ‘relaxation’ happens, nothing is impossible and Life is transformed.
